April Glossybox Review

Hello lovelies,

This past week has been soOo crazy for me. As some of you may know I work in retail management and I just got transfered to a new store, so all week my new manager and myself and have been getting the store ready to open along with our new team and it is so tiring, but worth it.

None the less here I am with a new post. I just got my April (Canadian) Glossybox a little over a week ago and I am so excited to share this one with you all.

The title of the April Glossybox is "Work that Beauty" and the contents of this box were actually hand picked favourites from Canadian Olympic medalist Tracy Little.  She described the contents of the box to be items that "totally melt her heart".

I thought this months box was so cute, it is the prettiest pink colour. I personally love using my empty glossybox's as makeup storage in my bathroom. What do you do with your empty boxes?

When I first opened the box as always I  see the Glossybox beauty card detailing the items inside. What was different about this months box was that under each item Tracy actually wrote a little note about why she loves each piece, which I thought was an amazing touch.

Now let's get into what products are inside....

1) Jelly Pong Cosmetics Lip Blush
*Full Size*
- a lip stain that tints your lips with just the right amount of juicy colour & hydration.
Cost $18.70
I am in love with this product. I haven't tried any other jumbo lip stains, but I don't need to now. This one is pricey but so worth it and I need to find it in stores.

2) Schick Hydro Silk Razor
*Full Size*
- the razor that gives back moisture & leaves your skin feeling silky smooth.
Cost $10.99
If you have read my last post than you should know how excited I am for this product. I love Schick razors, mind you I will still use my intuition razor for now, but this is on the top of my list to use.
(There were also coupons in the box to get more cartridges for the razor, for Canada and the US)

3) Boscia Recharging Night Moisture
*Full Size* (smallest size)
-a concentrated moisturizer that works overnight to repair, strengthen and improve skins elasticty.
Cost 40ml/$44.00
This cream has a thick consistency. I wont use it on my face, but I have been using it for my eyes. I have not seen an immediate difference in my dry under eyes, but it has only been a couple of days and I have really high hopes for this product!

4) Pop Beauty Glitz Blitz Eyeliner
*Full Size*
- this smudge free, glitzy eyeliner has the intensity of a liquid liner but the easy application of a pencil
Cost $15.00
The colour is gorgeous and it applies so smoothly on the skin. It is 100% smudge proof and waterproof,  I stuggled to clean the swatch off my hand. So if you wear this liner, it is guaranteed not to budge.

5) Heartland Fragrances
- Herb infused natural epsom salts, used to soften skin & relieve tired achy muscles.
Cost 300oz/$10.10
I don't have a tub, so unfortuantely I cannot use it to relieve my poor achy muscles from last week, however I did use it to soak my poor swollen feet. The smell is heavenly and relaxing. The epsom salts really softened my feet, but you would have to use it more then once to see/feel real results.

Lastly as an extra there is also a coupon for a 2pack of Silhouette greek yogurt. Free food, who wouldn't love that?

Over all the full worth of this months box is approx. $75, WHAT!!!

I was and am really impressed with this month's box. There is not one item I was not excited to see and use. My favourite is for sure the Jelly Pong lip stain and the razor.
Did you also get a Glossybox for April?  If so what was your favourite item inside?

If you are not sure Glossybox is a monthly beauty subscription box available in 15 different countries. So don't worry if you're not from North America, you can still sign up. To get your own Glossybox click on the link in the sidebar of my blog.

I hope you all enjoyed this post.

Glossybox Canada review

Hello lovelies,

This past weekend I was sent a glossybox to review from Vervegirl and glossybox. I was so excited because the box was just so pretty, I could not wait to open it.

If any of you are not sure what glossybox is, it as a monthly beauty box subscription. Every month you get sent new deluxe samples (and sometimes full sizes) from different makeup and beauty brands. The subscription is $21 a month and it is a great way to try out new products that you have never seen before or have been eyeing with uncertainty.

Now on to what was in my box. I got the February/Anniversary box and I love everything from the packaging to what was inside. When you open it there is a box inside of your box that has all of the goodies and they are both so pretty. When you open the second box there is a cute box and glossy sticker keeping everything from popping out.
The first thing I saw was a little card with a description and retail price for everything in the box. They also included a coupon promo code for a Canadian lingerie company globlove. I checked out their website and they have some gorgeous pieces.

Now to go down the list...
1. Elite models intensity eye pencil. Retail price $14.99
This is a full sized water proof eyeliner and the application (just from swatching) is so soft and smooth, I cant
wait to try it.

2. Essence quattro eyeshadow. Retail pruce $3.99
This is another full sized product. The colours are really pretty, but you for sure need a primer or base under these colours.

3.Bioré deep cleansing pore strips-ultra. Retail price 6/$9.99 -full size
I tried these out with my boyfriend and they really work to get out all the gunk off your nose!

4. Macadamia natural oil healing oil treatment. Retail price 30ml/$13.50.
I was so excited when I saw this in my box. I used it in the shower with my conditioning treatment and I also mixed it with my argan oil after I dryed my hair. It is definitely weightless just as it claims and it smells so good.

5. Anatomicals you need a blooming shower! Rose and Jasmine body cleanser-Full size. Retail price 150ml/$3.00.This shower gel literally smells like fresh cut roses. It is so soothing I love it and need to find it in stores!!

6. Eucerin hyal-urea anti-wrinkle day/night cream sachet duo. Retail price 50ml/ $18.50. I tried the night cream so far for under my eyes and it is so moisturizing. So far I really like it.

7. Crabtree and Evelyn tarocco orange eucalyptus & sage ultra-moisturizing hand therapy sachet. Retail price 25g/$8.00. This I have yet to try but can't wait.

8. Glossybox cupcake kit. This was a special edition item added to help celebrate glossybox's 1 year anniversary in Canada. I thought it was too cute and I have been itching to make cupcakes,  ever since I got these.

In total not including the samples this box is worth a whopping $45.50 and the box itself only costs a total of $21. I am most definitely impressed and would recommend glossybox to anyone and everyone who loves makeup and beauty. Every month the products and brands are different, so you will always be surprised and find something that you like.
