Spring outfit no.2 - Causal with an edge...

Hello lovelies,

Today's "spring"outfit, that can be cozied up for winter is a bit more casual. It is perfect for a day that your just going to school, or in my case just a normal day off running errands.

I love chiffon tops no matter what time of year it is and they can easily be dressed up or down...
Tie front chiffon blouse from garage on sale for only $15

Ankle jeans are always in trend for spring and summer and I love this faded and distressed pair from...
American Eagle railroad denim $39.99

For layering I again thought it would be good to keep it casual with a military style utility jacket(to still wear underneath our winter coats of course) another trend that is always in for spring...
American Eagle military jacket $79.95

Adding statement pieces is a good way to either dress up your outfit or add an ounce of edge. Knuckle rings and spike necklaces are the perfect amount of edge without being too much...
Fr21 cutout kunckle ring $5.80
Fr21 spike pendant necklace $6.80

On my casual days I love to carry around a big purse that I can throw everything into, like my books and anything else I want to carry with me....
Fr21 chain link shoulder bag $33.80

Keeping our feet warm and dry while still being stylish can sometimes be hard, but not with these boots...
Steve Madden Bekket $159.95

What do you think of today's outfit?
Would you wear it?
Comment below with your thoughts, would love to read them.

Check back tomorrow for another "spring" outfit for winter!!!

A colour filled winter - spring outfit no.1

Hello lovelies,

If any of you have been shopping or have been to your local mall lately you would have noticed all of the beautiful spring styles and colours, on the racks and mannequins. If you live in a place that is currently in the season of winter, than you're probably thinking "I can't wear these clothes, its freezing outside". But fear not, because I am going to show you how to wear these cute new styles and colours now!!!!
Everyday I will be posting a new outfit including accessories and footwear.

Outfit number 1:

Dynamite peplum top  $34.90
- a neutral top is always the best choice and this adorable embroidered peplum top is still a huge must for spring 2013.
Dynamite jeggings $36.90
- pastel is all the rage for spring and these jeggings from dynamite are a perfect match to go with the neutral peplum top I chose above.
Wilfred free érable sweater $85 from aritzia
- for those of us dealing with the cold and frigid winter this sweater is adorable and cozy and can really be paired with anything. It comes in several colours, but I thought this colour combo was a great top layering piece for our outfit.

Fr21 earrings $1.80
- these bow earrings are just too adorable not to include in this outfit, noe explanation needed
Fr21 necklace $17.80
- being that the earrings are so simple a statement necklace is great for rhe neck line of this top. The necklace is not too bold and the colours match wirh the top and jeggings.
Fr21 Clutch $12.80
- you can never go wrong with a cute clutch and again it matches with our jeggings.
Aldo Cleminia nude pumps $41.99
- for a night out to dinner or a work day these nude pumps would be perfect.
Biessel boot from Call it Spring $80
- if you're trekking through the snow or just the cold, I love these boots. They're warm and cozy and look great with the wilfred sweater.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and check back tomorrow for another outfit!!!

What's in my purse; tag

Hello lovelies,

I don't know about you girlies, but I love watching the "what's in my purse tag" videos on youtube. There is no telling how many I have watched. With that being said I've wanted to do the tag for a while now, but wasn't sure what the reaction of a blog style tag would be. In the last little while I have been noticing more and more bloggers taking on the trend, so here I am doing the tag!!!

Purse:
guess Reiko small carryall tote in nude

What is inside...
- L.A. candy book by Lauren Conrad: I am Loving this book so far. I'm almost done reading it and cannot wait to read the second. - what is your fav. book at the moment.
- LV wallet.
- Card holder, full of different business cards and cards that I don't need everyday in my wallet.
- Inhaler for my asthma.
- Medication for my wrist when it bugs me.
- Aveeno hand lotion. I always have dry skin, but even more so during the cold Canadian winters.
- A simple prayer book. I like to keep this with me for morning prayers and you never know when you may need it.
- Pearl rosary that my boyfriends mom gave to me. I have a rosary in all of my purses.
- A pen, 'cause the only time you dont have one is the time you actually need one.
- My house keys.
- Dog spray, for nights that I am walking by myself or have to take the subway when it is dark out. All girls need something to protect themselves.
- Babylips lip balm in peach kiss.
- Stride gum in some berry flavour. Berry flavoured gum is always my favourite, or cinnamon.
- A band aid just in case.
- My samsung slll phone.
- Ipod and headphones.
- Zebra print makeup bag (I will show what is there in a different post).
-  A bath and body works coupon.

This purse looks small, but my goodness as you can see it holds a lot and I love it!!!!

What do you like to carry in your purse!!

Thanks for reading and please comment below what you want to see next on my blog!!!

Cute bow nails

Hello lovelies,

Today's post is going to be on how I created my bow nails!

Step1: apply avon gel strength base coat (my fave ever!!)

Step2: apply two coats of avon nail wear pro+ in cotton candy (let the polish dry inbetween coats)

Step3: using avons nail art enamel in delicate white draw to white parallel lines on an angle

Step4: using avons lip brush or a wooden cuticle stick and drag the centre of the lines inwards towards one another creating two triangles. Repaint over the triangles to get the desired size/shape if needed.

Step5: using a silver polish (I used heaven nail laquer) and create a dot/circle in the centre of the two triangles and let dry.

Step6: put on your top coat (avon uv gloss guard) and let dry.

Now you have adorable bow nails!!!

I hope yoy all enjoyed this post and that you are having an awesome weekend.  Please comment below and tell me what you would like to see next on my blog!!! (Tutorials, tags, whatever you want leave it below)

Written in the stars motd

Hello lovelies,

Todays post is going to be a step by step makeup look that I wore the other day for an evening out with my boyfriend. The looks is one that can easily be for a casual date or even one a little more glamorous.
For most of this look I used my Stila written in the stars palette from their holiday collection and a few other shades as well.

Step1: pat on maybelline's color tattoo in too cool all over the eyelid
(forgot to take a pic of this one) Step2: put the shimmery (light) pink colour from the stila palette in the inner corner
Step3: using a pencil brush take the dark matte brown colour and work it into your crease
Step4: use the same colour and also draw on your outter v and blend up
Step5: take the coral pink colour and brush it onto your lid
Step6: lighty pat the same pink colour from the first step on top of the coral colour to add a little more shimmer.
Step7: use bootycall from the ubd naked2 palette as a highlight on the brow bone and also to blend out the crease colour.
Step8: using mac fluid line in dark diversion line upper lash line creating a winged out look
Step9: line outter half of lower lash line with the same colour as above
Steo10: line inner half of lower lash line and water line with stila smudge stick in angel fish

To fill in my brows I use bonne bell eye define in smoky (a golden taupe colour)

For blush and contour I used my stila snow angel palette.

Lips: rimmel moisture renew lipstick in 180 vintage pink pink

I hope you all enjoy this look and please comment below for what kind of post you would like to see next. Follow me on twitter @annpaige xoxo annpaige
