"Go see" outfit of the day

Hello lovelies,

So today I had this awesome opportunity with Vervegirl (www.vervegirl.com - this super awesome magazine in Canada that gets published to high schools and universities, which I have casually been working for and writing for at times) to be a part of a "go see" scene for this show they are partnering with. I can't give any details of it until it airs, but it was super fun. Myself along with a friend and a few other girls were extras in the scene and I got to talk and be on screen (I just hope I make it into the cut!!!) and I want to show you all my outfit.

Peplum top - Urban Planet (new)
Jeggings - guess
Heels - le chateau (old)

They just wanted simple makeup, (the girl next door look) so I didn't do too much.
Light bronzer to contour cheeks and pink blush.
Brown soft eyeliner and neutral eyes with mascara.
Baby lips peach kiss with Mac snob on lips.

I saw this top and thought it was super cute, trendy and comfy and would be perfect for today. (It only cost ...are you ready for it... $12 Canadian, super cheap!!!)

The rest of my day consists of my boyfriend and I taking his nephew to a Halloween and pasta dinner party at church with all of his school friends and I'm not sure if it be awkward to dress up or not....

What are your plans for Halloween or just for this weekend.

Hope you all have a great night!!!

Fall makeup ft. Naked2 by Urban Decay

Hello lovelies,

Today's post is going to be an easy neutral makeup look, perfect for Fall and perfect for all skin tones and can easily be manipulated or jazzed up for a holiday look.

Face:
Foundation:
Garnier BB cream with spf15 in light/medium
Concealer: tarte maracuja creasless concealer in fair(for a brighter look) for under my eyes and around my nose to cover redness
L'Oreal True Match Naturale mineral makeup foundation in 464 Natural Beige
NYC Smooth Skin loose face powder in 741A Transulcent - setting powder

Eyes:
Urban decay's Naked2 palette
Step1: brush foxy all over lid
Step2: tap verve into the inner corner
Step3: brush tease over the rest of the lid and blend into verve
Step4: blend busted into crease
Step5: tap snakebite onto the centre of your eyelid
Step6: using a flat brush use busted on the outer half of lower eyelid
Step7: brush verve onto inner corner of lower line
Step8: line outter half of waterline with black rimmel kohl eyeliner
Step9: line inner half of waterline with white NYC liner
Step10: highlight brow bone with bootycall
Essence felt tip liquid liner in black
Almay 3in1 mascara but with my Maybeline one by one brush (I like the Almay formula but prefer my Maybeline brush and I've also run out of my one by one)

Brows: I just brush on a matte taupe colour from my sephora palette with a flat shadder brush and then a shimmery tan on the inner half and blend with a sephora brow brush

Cheeks:
Rimmel Sunshimmer 3in1 shimmering bronzer
Covergirl insta cheekbones in 220 purely plum contouring blush
Start with the middle colour just on top of bronzer contouring, use the lighter shade on the apples of the cheekbone for a soft look and the darker colour for a bolder Fall look. (I used all three.)

Lips:
Brown sephora lip liner
Mac frosted viva glam
Clinique full potential lips duo in colour 16 double plum on the centre of my lips

Highlight above cheek bones bootycall from Naked2

Berry Fall nails - DIY

Hello lovelies,

I have been searching for the perfect nail colour for fall and just could not find exactly what I wanted, so I made my own and wanted to share with you all how I did it.
I first found a bottle that was on its last breath with hardly any polish left in it. The bottle I started with had a very light tan colour in it, but you don't have to start with the same colour. I do however recommend you use a neautral base or get an empty bottle.

I then mixed all of the colours in the picture above. You don't have to use the same brands, just use whatever you have at home in the same colour.

- 799 Plum night by Revlon

- 426 by wet n' wild (no name); a bright fuscia colour

- 131A by NYC; red

- 260 gold silk by Rimmel

I just eye balled it and kept mixing until I got the right colour. With this combination there is really no way to mess it up. If you want more of a pink berry add more red and fuscia. If you want a deeper berry then add more purple.

I hope you all liked this post and let me know what your fav fall nail polish colour is and also if you try this diy!!!

New Fall boots

Hello lovelies,

Last week I was at the winners downtown in my city and this winners always has the best designer or non designer selection, what ever you're looking for you can find at this winners. The boots I got we're not designer but oh my gosh I love them. I debated back and forth between this and a cute pair of heels, but in light of the Fall season I opted for the boots.

The brand is Rampage and they are a nice light tan suede. They are so comfy and they were only $39.99. I am so excited to wear them like everyday!!!

What is your current fav pair of Fall boots/shoes?

On a side note, I just wanted to apologize for not responding to your comments right away and seeming almost absent at times. The new blogger interface is so slow and keeps crashing on my iPod. I don't go on my actual computer that often and when I do that's when I post and respond to all of your comments.
Thanks to everyone for your continued to support love you all!!!
