Finesse Silver Beauty Shampoo & Conditioner - Blonde & Silver Hair | Review

Hello Lovelies,

As most of you know I have platinum blonde hair and I do not go to a salon, I do my own hair and have for many years. I originally went platinum blonde about 7 years ago and I shared my journey (read about it here) featuring the steps I took and the products I used. Over the years I have found products that are my favourite and that I always go back to. With that said, I am always on the look out for new products to try that will help me achieve and maintain the results that I want. Whether it be products to help make my hair healthier and stronger, or products that help protect and maintain my colour.

I have literally tried almost every purple/blue shampoo on the market, from drugstore to salon brands which is why I was excited to try out a new brand that I have never used before. I was recently given the opportunity to try out Finesse's Silver beauty shampoo and conditioner and I am going to share my thoughts on both products with you all.

To give a little background on my hair - My hair is blonde and I do not like golden tones in my hair, so the lighter I can go and the less yellow/orange my hair looks the better. I only tone my hair when I do my roots, which is roughly every 4-6 weeks. So, to manage my colour, purple shampoo and at times manicpanic are two go to products.

Product Claims:
Restores softness and tones down yellowness. Specially formulated for the unique needs of grey/platinum hair.

Results:
I have used both the shampoo and conditioner for he past month now and I must say that I am pretty impressed. I noticed a difference after one use. After using both products together my hair is definitely less orange and it feels really soft to the touch and bouncy.
Some purple shampoos will tint your hair when you leave it on for too long (at times I intentionally want the tint), however the Finesse shampoo and conditioner will not turn your hair purple, it just helps to tone down the orange and yellow tones that generally accompany blonde and silver hair.

Finesse Silver Beauty Shampoo Conditioner | Platinum Blonde Hair | Purple Shampoo | Canadian Blogger

For the value, the Finesse Silver Beauty line is definitely worth trying if you are blonde or if you want to tone down your grey/silver hair.
If you want a shampoo that will tint your hair, then this is not the one for you.

Rating:
4/5

Would I recommend this line?
Yes, I highly recommend trying out both products and for the price you cannot go wrong!
One thing to mention about both products is that they do have a distinct fragrant smell.

Let me know if you have tried the Finesse Silver Beauty and what your thoughts are!

Thank you so much for reading my review. If you have products that you are interested in hearing about or want me to revie, leave me a comment a below.

Be sure to stay and touch and follow me on Facebook and Instagram if you are not already.

Until next time....

Skincare Favourites | Beauty Review

Hello lovelies,

Being a mother of three and now also nearing 30 (yes I said 30!), I have been putting more thought into my skincare. Recently, I have started to notice a loss of elasticity under my eyes specifically. The skin under my eyes has always been more dry and this has been the case for years - so, I have always been on the lookout for a resolution to my dry under eyes.

For the past month I have found products and a skincare routine that has been working very well for me. I have noticed that my skin looks brighter & more refreshed (even with the lack of sleep that accompanies my crazy life), and the skin around my eyes is a lot more smooth. With all of that said, I am excited to share with you all what I have been using.

Skincare favourites | Younique skincare | Youology | Skincare review | rose quartz roller | shoosha oil } Canadian Blogger | Beauty Blogger

The first product is this Rose Quartz face roller. I have always had sinus issues and on the days that I use my roller I can physically feel the difference in my sinuses and in my lymph nodes. I use the roller in conjunction with a product below that I will talk more about. The coolness of the stone allows for the tightening of the skin, which at my age is now something that I need to start focusing on. I use quick strokes starting at my jaw and working upwards on my face in outward motions. I do this for about 4-5 minutes in total.
There are so many rollers out their, but I chose Rose Quartz specifically for the self love healing qualities that it promotes. Get the same one here.

I started using this serum from Shoosha Truly Organic  on my belly and hips during pregnancy and I also would use it under my eyes and noticed a huge difference in the brightness of my skin. I now use it 2-3 times a week all over my face and also when I use my face roller. It is amazoing because it really does help to fade scars, age spots and stretch marks (my belly is proof!) and it is not in any way greasy. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and is so much more amazing than other expensive face serums that I have used in the past.

Shoosha Rejuvenating Stretch Mark Serum - Toronto fashion, beauty, lifestyle, mom blogger, Canadian

I received the Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner in my February Ipsy bag and have been using it as a part of my regular skincare routine. The toner is very light and doesn't dry out my skin. I do it feel it tightening up my skin, but I don't get that burning feeling that can accompany some other toners on the market. I highly recommend trying this toner out if you are lacking lustre or just want a brighter complexion. If you are interested in Ipsy and getting customized delux samples and full size beauty products sent right to your door every month for under $20 then you should totally sign up!

Younique recently launched their new You.ology customizable skin care line and I was super excited to try it out. You fill out a little survey about your skin and it then recommends different boosters for your skin type to add to their base products. Out of the line my two favourite products are the face serum and night cream. The boosters I chose are for skin elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles and brightening up dull skin. I have been using both in my new routine and my skin is so much brighter and the skin around my eyes is no longer as dry and dull as it was before using this routine. I am so happy with the results thus far. For more info about their customizable skincare products click here to fill out your own skin care survey.

Over, all I have been loving all of these products and have noticed a big difference in the way my skin looks and feels. I on't get very much sleep with three littles and a full-time job and I live off of caffeine.

I hope that you find this post helpful/inspirational and that you too have found some new items that you want to try out. If you do try any, let me know. Also comment below with what your current skincare favs are.

If you are not yet following me on IG make sure you do for daily fashion and outfit inspo and for behind the scenes into my daily life with my three littles.

Beauty Favourites

Hello lovelies,

The saying "beauty is skin deep", definitely speaks true to me! Despite having just had twins and the fact that I am a house rat, I still want to take care of my hair and skin. Being able to pamper myself as being a busy mom of three, is a priority that I sure as heck take advantage of! With that being said this post is all about my current beauty and hair favourites!

Skincare:

Talking about skin deep, I love my charcoal mask (not pictured) and rose water toner.
The charcoal mask is gentle on the skin and is not like those peel off masks that everyone was using last year. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean and it doesn’t hurt when you have to take it off!

I use the rose water toning spray after my mask and I must say that I LOVE the smell. Because, it is infused with rose water it helps get rid of redness and it also leaves my skin feeling refreshed without leaving a sticky residue.

Makeup:

My fav eye shadow palette of all time that I use almost everyday is my Urban Decay Naked2 palette. It has the perfect neutrals for any eye colour and I shouldn’t say this, but I have had it for YEARS and the pots have yet to diminish!

My favourite blush of the moment is the Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Risque. The shade matches my skintone both with and without a tan, allowing me to use it all year long. It also blends out really nicely and you can use to create a soft subtle amount of colour for minimal makeup days or build on it when you want a “full face”.

My secret weapon for glowing skin is... are you ready for it....??? Organic virgin coconut oil. I use coconut oil for so many beauty purposes! I use it to remove my mascara vs a wipe to prevent my lashes from being pulled out of my eyelids. I also use it to remove my makeup when I run out of makeup remover. Coconut oil is also a great natural moisturizer for the skin. Another way that I use it is under my eyes to help prevent wrinkles and diminish my dark circles.
When picking a coconut oil to use on your face and/or body, ensure that it is organic and virgin. You don’t want it to have any preservatives or added ingredients.

Hair Products:

I have been using the got2be smooth smooth operator on my hair for years! I love this product for getting rid of frizz and it is also a heat protectant. I use it on towel dried hair and either let it sit or blow dry my hair. If I am blow drying my hair, I will also add it to my ends once my hair is dried and before styling.

Garnier dry oil is another product that I have been using for a couple of years. After the shower, and when my hair is towel dried I apply a very small amount to my ends to help prevent breakage. You do not need a lot of this product, as too much will weigh your hair down and also make it feel greasy.

Nails:

I recently started using the Quo sponge nail polish remover and I will never go back to using a regular bottle! The sponge makes it so convenient and easy to use and I never have to worry about pouring out too much or spilling it, which is amazing. It works fast and I have had it for four months now and it has still yet to dry out. Highly recommend!!!

For top coat I have been using the Essie Gel top coat and it keeps my polish on for up two weeks, which has never happened with any other top coats that I have used.

What are some of your favourite beauty products? Is there anything you think I must try? Comment below I would love to hear from you!

Review - Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

Hello lovelies!

I recently had the opportunity to try out the new Lash Sensational Mascara from Maybelline and wanted to share my experience with you all!

Mascara is always a tricky product for me. I have long lashes, however my main issue when trying to find a new mascara is finding one that provides both length and volume. Did the Lash Sensational Mascara live up to it’s name? Keep reading to find out!

Price:
$10.99CAD
Can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Shoppers Drugmart or Rexall, as well as most pharmacies.

Product Claims:
-Capture lashes from root to tip for a full-fan effect
-Washable

Did this product live up to the hype?
Yes, it did give me full length and yes, it does wash off.

Pros:
-Easy to use
-Separates lashes
-Provides lift and length
-Does not run

Cons:
-Formula is too wet (when used brand new). Works better after about a month when the formula starts to get a little thicker.
-Very “sticky” - When washing it off it can clump, so be sure not to tug on your lashes.

Over all rating: 8/10

Would I purchase this product again? Probably, when I need a mascara for traveling that is inexpensive.

Would I recommend this product?
Yes, as it is a great value for anyone look for a good lengthening mascara on a budget.

*Disclaimer: I did receive this product free for testing purposes. All opinions are my own. I was not paid to give a good review.

Thank you everyone for reading! If you liked this post or have any comments, please put them down below!

Updated What's in My Purse

Hello lovelies,

It has been a long while since my last What's in my purse post and I always find these posts to be one of the most interesting. Finding out what others deem as essential must have items to keep with them everyday. It's a personal post and also fun to read. So, without further ado, let's get to what is in my purse.

Outfit:
Top: Gebe Maternity
Skirt: M for Mendocino
Shoes: Justfab
Necklace: Ricki's

Items I must have with me at all times include pretty much everything that you see here and it is the main reason why I can never carry a small purse.

Purse: Coach

Wallet: Coach

Mints, for both a breath refresher and nausea killer, while pregnant.
Lotion, because I hate having dry hands.
EOS lip balm.
Hand sanitizer, because I can be a total germaphobe, especially while pregnant.
Earphones from Sony.
My current fav lipstick in Affluent from Younique.
Sunnies from H&M.
My rosary, because I am Catholic and I pray daily.
My agenda and organizer. My agenda is from Bando and it is my favourite. It is a monthly and daily planner with a lot of room for notes and it comes with stickers!! They have so many prints and designs and this one was my fav!
A pen, of course, to use for writing in my planner and because you never know when something will either need to be signed and/or filled out.
Clear polish for those pesky times when my nail polish chips or my actual nail chips while out.

And, that is everything I carry with me on a daily basis. I also ensure to always have water and snacks in my purse everywhere I go, typically both for myself and for daughter.

What are your purse must haves?? Let me know in the comments below and as always thanks for reading!

How to Survive the First Trimester of Pregnancy

Hello lovelies,

The news is out!! If you do not follow me on social media, then you may not yet know that.....I am pregnant! This is my second pregnancy and this time around we are expecting twins!!! We both feel so blessed and we are overjoyed to grow our little family. And, of course our little girl is totally stoked to be a big sister!

Finding out that you are pregnant can leave you with a whirlwind of emotions, add pregnancy symptoms and not fitting into your clothes on top of that and it can be quite a challenge to manage. Having been through this once before, I am grateful for the tips and tricks that I had learned and been able to implement into my everyday life this time around. With that said, I am here to share with you all of my tips on how to survive the first trimester of pregnancy. Because, we never receive enough advice while pregnant, right?

Tip #1
Sharing the news

This is a sensitive and tricky one to manage, as it can be so hard not to want to tell everyone. If you tell people, are they accidentally going to slip and tell others? Are you going to slip and tell people? Also, how long is that teeny tiny bump going to stay teeny tiny?

Having a careful conversation with your partner on who and when to tell is a definite must, as soon as possible. You may both have different ideas on who should be the first to know, however having that initial conversation will make it so much easier to respect each others wishes.

Tip #2
Dealing with Nausea

Every woman and every pregnancy is different. With my first, all I really experienced was motion sickness vs. full blown nausea. I had a few days that I took my prenatal vitamins on an empty stomach and quickly learned my lesson not to do that ever again. However, with this pregnancy it has not been the same. Yes, a multiple pregnancy is accompanied by the symptoms of double the hormones, but no one ever knows what that really means. To combat nausea, I keep water on my night stand and ensure that I eat within a half hour of waking up; crackers are a perfect small snack to devour before breakfast and in between meals.
Mints!! I have mints in my purse and sitting on my counter at home, as they always help when either motion sickness kicks in, or for just nausea in general. Anytime I feel a little motion sickness on transit or in the car, I always pop a mint or two to help it pass for a little while. They are also great for getting rid of pesky after tastes that can bring up nausea after a meal.

Tip #3
Fitting an ever changing waistline

Depending on your body frame you may show quickly, or if you have a longer torso or are carrying further in your back, you may not show as early. Either way, a tighter waistline is inevitable. Do not, I repeat DO NOT think that you have to live in leggings, because there are so many options available now to help you look and feel great. With my first everyone recommended I get a Bella Band and it totally does the trick for helping you fit into your favourite jeans without having to zip them up! Comfy pants also work wonders, especially loose joggers.
For tops, I typically stick to longer tanks and looser fitting tops, especially if you haven't shared your joyful news yet.

Tip #4
Skincare

Face First

Restless nights and all day nausea got me looking like a Walking Dead extra, but no one needs to know how I really look! ;)
A good BB cream, concealer and luminizer = my trick to glowing skin!
I mix my favourite concealer and luminizer together for a luminescent glow and top it off with a moisturizing BB cream to give my skin life and hydration, so no one has to know that I did not "wake up like this".

My EOS lip blam, Batiste dry shampoo and of course  prenatal vitamins are all essentials that I cannot live without while pregnant and recommend that all pregnant women have!!

Stretch Marks? No, thank you!
To prevent stretch marks (hopefully) and also alleviate itchy, dry skin, I use a combination of Vaseline Radiance coco butter moisturizer and Shoosha Stretch Mark Oil. I start by putting the moisturizer all over my upper half, including my butt and hips (because yes, your skin will also stretch there too) and then I layer on my oil.
Using both seriously and truly eliminates the mid day tummy itch and keeps my skin feeling supple all day long. I do this routine twice a day; once in the morning after I wake up and then in the evening before bed. I used this same routine with my first pregnancy and thankfully never got a single stretch mark (here's hoping this round will end in the same results ;))

Tip #5
Stay Hydrated

Staying hydrated during pregnancy helps your body on so many levels. Getting enough fluids, helps your skin retain moisture (keeping stretch mark prevention on top of mind), and helps to flush out everyday toxins. Sometimes feeling lightheaded and nauseous can also mean that you are not getting enough fluids. I always have a water bottle with me and I usually end up refilling it about 4-5 times a day while I am at work.

Tip #6
Write it Down

Get a pregnancy journal! I had one with my first and I bought one for this pregnancy as well. Having a pregnancy journal is a great way to keep memories because we all know how forgetful we can be (especially while pregnant). Being able to jot down important notes along the way, like when you first felt your baby kick or when you feeling your first bay hiccups. All are amazing memories and they are great to share with your little one when they are older. A pregnancy journal is also an excellent way to stay organized, as they typically include appointment reminders, baby shower guest lists and how to organize your thank your cards. A definite must have and the one I use is What to Expect When You're Expecting organizer and you can get it at online or in-store at Chapters/Indigo.

I hope that this post has been helpful, as I wish I had come across similar advice while pregnant with my first. If you have some of your own favourite tips that have helped you along your journey, share them below! And, if you too are expecting comment below and let's share in our joy together :)!

Stay tuned for my next post which will include some of my favourite Fall maternity looks, that I will be strutting this season! Let me know your favourite trends for the season and I will try to include them.

As always thank you for reading and until next time...

Current Favourites; Fashion and Beauty

Hello lovelies,

It has been awhile since I last did a favourites post so, i thought it was about time, since I have been trying a few new things lately. I hope you enjoy!!!

Fashion Favs

I recently got this top from Rickis (find here) and I love it so much!!!
It is a light chiffon material that goes with everything. The colour is what first sold me on this product. I had to have it as soon as I saw it.

I got these bow earrings about a month ago from forever21 (find here) and I just love them. If you read my posts often or follow me on twitter then you would have already seen these earrings a few times. They are so cute and girly and I just love them like crazy!!

Beauty Favs

When I was at Fr21 a month ago I saw this brush set (find here) and at the moment I needed to get some new eye shadow brushes, so I thought why not give them a try. The set only cost $6.80, so if they were crap, then I didn't really waste much on them at all. Thankfully, they were not bad at all. The face and cheek brush are not that dense, so they are great for applying powder products to the face. The eye shadow brushes I LOVE. They remind me so much of my duo brush that came with my naked2 palette, and they pick up product so nicely. I would highly recommend this set, mainly just for the shadow brushes and that only makes the set worth the cost.

I recently got some products from Jergens Natural glow line and Vevergirl to test out and I have so far tried these products from the line. I will do a full review on the whole line in the near future after I have gotten to test them all, but so far I really love both of these products. I used the +firming daily moisturizer and face moisturizer before bed and after I showered. I noticed a difference in my skin tone when I got home the next day. I also noticed a significant difference after the second application. Both products left my skin feeling so smooth and the colour was really natural.

I got this perfume as a birthday gift from my boyfriend last year and I love the scent, it just reminds of spring/summer every time I smell it. I always tend to lean towards one scent more than  another in specific seasons, 'cause they make the season come more to life for me(I that sounded really lame, but its true). With the weather getting warmer outside now, I just find I have been grabbing this scent a lot more lately. I love it, it is light and kind of floral, but not at all strong. (find here the colour of the bottle has changed)

I discovered this primer last year and I also mention it in my best of 2012 post because I love it so much. I truly think that this is an under rated product and that it needs more love than it gets. I find that now that I have started to use a new foundation I am grabbing my primer a lot more, to smooth out my skin and to put on my oily spots, before applying my foundation. This primer is so comparable to the smashbox primer which is like $40 and the hard candy primer is only $7.98 @ wal-mart. I love this product and I recommend that everyone who uses primer to try this product!!!! (find here)

For awhile I was using the Garnier Fructis UV color shield leave-in conditioner, until I came across this new one.  It has a milk like conditioner on top and the oil is the bottom. When you shake the bottle the two mix to create this amazing triple nutrition detangling spray. I spray it on my hair after I shower with my heat protectant and after I blow dry to keep my hair soft and frizz free. I also use this product daily if my hair is looking or feeling dry. (find here)

What products have you all been loving this month?
Comment below and let me know!!!

I hope you all have an amazing weekend!!

Product Review - L'Oréal Voluminous Mascara

Hello lovelies,

Today I wanted to share a beauty product review with you all.

I think everyone and their grandma has tried the L'Oréal Voluminous mascara by now, but I have never tried the original formula so I thought I would and let you all know my two sense on it.

Cost: $5.98 @ Wal-Mart
(super affordable)

I got the mascara in brown/black for a more natural look, as opposed to always wearing black. I must say there really is not much of a difference in shade. When you first take out the wand the colour looks like a chocolate brown, but after it dries it looks much darker.

The first few times I used this mascara I noticed that the formula was very wet and I had to scrap off quite a bit of product on the container before applying to my lashes. After application the first couple of times I also had to run a dry spoley through my lashes to help seperate them. I have however found that this mascara does get much better after contiued use, as it does dry up a bit and become less wet.

One thing that I really like about this mascara is the curved wand. I have pretty long lashes to begin with and I don't curl them. With that beig said having a curved wand helps to lift my eyelashes and keep their natural curl(plus add some extra curl of course). I also really love that the formulation does not dry crunchy. My lashes still have some flexibility to them and they also keep their curl all day. This mascara is also super easy to remove, which makes the end of my day much easier.

Overall I would give this mascara an 8/10.
Would I purchase it again? For sure!! Would I recommend it to all of you? Yes!!!!

Have you tried this mascara before?
If so, comment below with your thoughts on this product.

What do you want to see next on my blog?
Comment below with any and all suggestions!!!

I hope you all liked this post and check back tomorrow for post no.2 on "How to wear/style statement necklaces".

New in fashion & hair

Hello lovelies,

The weather this past week has been really ugly in Ontario, so I haven't really gone anywhere other than work and haven't been inspired for outfits. With that being said I thought it would be a great time to show you all some of the new goodies that I have gotten lately. I don't really go shopping often and this time around I have quite a few things. Some are gifts and some are things I just needed to get and I wanted to try new products instead of re-buying the same products.

The one thing that I am so excited about in this post is the shoes that I got. All three pairs I bought at Ardene and they were only 3 for $10. Regular price they are still really cheap, only $14.50 each. I have worn two of them so far and I am really happy with the quality. They are so comfortable and durable too. Being on my feet all day at work makes it hard for me to find comfortable shoes, but so far they are all more comfortable then shoes that I have paid 10x the price for.If you have an Ardene near you run there now, they have so many cute styles. (Tip for shopping at Ardene, power centre locations have a much wider variety than most mall locations and the stuff is much cuter too). You can find some styles "here" on their website too, but they have soo much more in store.

All of the jewelry was a gift from my boyfriends mom, that she bought back home in the Philippines. I am so in love with the gold one that has the pink jewels, I wore it in my last Valentine's outfit post.

The coloured pearl earrings are all so cute and they are all pastel, perfect for the Spring.

The purse was also a gift. She bought a bigger purse and this little one came inside of it. This would be perfect with almost any outfit, since it is a neutral colour.

I needed to get more bleach and toner(wella t18) for my roots and I wanted to try a new bleach, so I picked up a new one and I love it. I've never used quick blue before and i have wanted to try it for quite some time now, so my roots wouldn't be so bright this time around. This stuff works really well and I would recommend it to anyone who does their own hair. (Comment below if you want a full review).
While at Sally's it was also time to renew my membership and they had a promotion going on for the month of February. When you renew you get to pick a free Ion or Silk Elements product worth $8.99 or less. I picked this Silk Elements cholesterol conditioning treatment. I have used it once so far, right after doing my roots and it made my hair so silky smooth.ble

I also needed a new face moisturizer and have heard a lot about this beauty brand "simple", so when I saw it at wal-mart I thought why not give it a shot. This moisturizer is really gentle and I like it a lot.

I have been eyeing this chanel t-shirt for, forever at Rickis and I had to cave. It was the last xs and at a cost of only $22.50 it is now mine. The material is so soft and the colour around the bottle is actually all sequins. To all of my international readers, Rickis is only in Canada and does not have international shipping, sorry :(. But you can find tees like this in so many places now such as "here" and "here"
At Rickis I also got this adorable hair bow for only $2.99, it is so cute! ( find similar bow here) If you are in Canada and don't have a Rickis near you check out www.rickis.com.

That is everything that I have gotten and please bare in mind that this is a collective haul over the past week or so and I am in no means bragging about anything that I have shown. This post is merely just a way to show you all some new products that I have and am loving and that you may want to check out for yourself.
If you want a review on any of the hair or beauty products shown then please leave a comment below and I will for sure do a more in depth post about them.

What are products or items are you all loving right now?

I hope you all enjoyed this post and the weather near you is better than mine lol. Have an awesome weekend and I will see you all in my next post!!!

STILA's new Holiday collection ft. Ardell

Hello lovelies,

Tonight I had the pleasure of attending the holiday launch party for STILA cosmetics and ARDELL lashes as a Vervegirl rep. The event was amazing, we got glammed up and lashed up.

STILA's new holiday collection is abosolutely gorgeous. The colour palettes are perfect for every skin tone and they are super easy to work with. The packaging in itself is enough reason to purchase any of the products.

The event took place at Wish cafe downtown and it was the perfect setting. White walls and currents cascading from the ceiling with low lighting all over and couches to lounge on, made you feel welcome and at home. Hor dourves and an open bar with their signature cocktail of the night made it a great environment to sit down and connect with other bloggers and industry gals.

When you first walk in they had a little station set up where you can put together a gift set with STILA and Ardell products to be given as a Christmas gift to a woman in need through the YWCA (www.ywcatoronto.org). We also got to write a little personalized message to put in the gift box, which I thought was just amazing. After putting together the gift boxes around the corner they had another station set up where you get your makeup done or touched up and also get lashed up by STILA and Ardell makeup artists. Me being me, I already went with my makeup done, so the makeup artist just jazzed me up a bit and added some sparkle to my eyes using the Snow Angel Colour palette and she also added a little plum to my cheeks, because I already had some plumy purple lips going on. To enhance the purple I already had on my lips she used Black Cherry lip glaze to add some shine and make my lips pop even more. After my makeup was holiday-fied an artist from Ardell gave me a great pair of falsies to finish off my holiday look!!! (did you know Ardell lashes are made of real human hair and you can wear them every day for two weeks straight, because I just learned that tonight!!!)

Through out the event I met some great people, that I hope to stay in touch with and we also got some awesome goodie bags, with their whole holiday collection inside!!!! I was totally not expecting to get as much as they gave us.

For my outfit I wore:
Black jeggings: guess
Pearl trim gold top: ricki's
Chanel tweed cropped jacket: ricki's
Watch: aldo
Bracelets: fr21
Purse: H&M (which I am totally loving right now, because it has two compartments and folds over!!)

For my makeup I will dedicate a post just for the look, so I can do a step by step how to and I don't want to make this post incredibly long..

The Gift box that I made
The Holiday Collection!!!

I plan to do a series of Holiday makeup tutorials featuring these palettes once a week, starting with my first post of this look in the next couple of days. (let me know if you like this idea)

If you have any specific makeup looks/tutorials that you want to see me do then please comment below, because I have been getting a great response from the looks I have recently posted

Thanks a bunch lovelies!!!
